Match Report: Away loss to UDG Tenerife (2-1)
Andrea Esteban’s side travelled to the Canary Islands to take on UDG Tenerife at 6 pm kick-off time (CET) on Matchday 10 of Primera Iberdrola.
VCF Femenino were off to a strong start by taking the initiative. On 5 minutes, Ana Torrodà free kick drive whistled over the crossbar and a minute later Enith was forced into a save on a one on one against Martín-Prieto but the VCF Femenino goalkeeper was equal to it.

Marijose made it 1-0 to the home side over the halfway point in the first half. The remainder of the half played out with no further incidents as VCF Femenino trailed UDG Tenerife at the break by 1-0.
VCF Femenino came out in the second looking to make things difficult and they enjoyed two corner kicks in a cagey passage of play.
The away side grew in the game from the hour mark and on 72 minutes Koko made it 2-0. Aline denied Altive on 85 minutes, but Marta Carro nodded it home two minutes later, following an excellent Asun delivery.
VCF Femenino went all out in attack enjoying two clear-cut chances through their captain alas, she could not find a way past Aline. The scoreline remained unchanged and VCF Femenino fell to a 2-1 defeat.
